| Dr. Connolly graduated from Glasgow in 1985 and has over 10 years experience in Cosmetic Dermatological Practice. He was one of the pioneers of Botox® treatments in Scotland and is now recognized as one of the most experienced cosmetic physicians in the country. | Nearly 20 years in medicine and 10 years in cosmetic practice. In addition to treating patients is involved in training and examining fellow doctors. He has been a member of the BACD since its inception in 2000. Dr. Connolly is currently the spokesman for the BACD in Scotland. His training and experience has included work and training with the pioneering companies in the field of aesthetic Dermatology. |

Why should I see Dr Connolly for these treatments?
Dr Connolly is a founder member of the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors and holds the Cardiff diploma in Dermatology. Dr Connolly is the longest accredited Network-Lipolysis physician in Scotland. Dr Connolly is the only physician in Scotland qualified to offer Thermage. Dr Connolly is an examiner and trainer with the BACD. Dr Connolly is the Scottish spokesman for the BACD Only a doctor with Dermatology experience has sufficient depth of knowledge to safely offer the full range of rejuvenation options. Very few doctors, even those in cosmetic medicine, hold post graduate dermatology qualifications. Many doctors, nurses and dentists claim to have these skills and qualificatiosn but have merely attended short half or one day training courses and do not hold recognised post graduate university qualifications. A single technique is easy to teach but competency and excellence require time, training and a lot of experience. |

| What is the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors? |
| The BACD was formed in 2000 to provide a professional body for the increasing number of doctors who offer cosmetic dermatology treatments. The body provides training, regular meetings and is the first step in regulating this filed of medicine. Their aim and Dr Connolly's are to bring excellence in cosmetic treatments to his patients and to develop centres of clinical excellence where patients can feel reassured of the quality of the treatments they receive there. |
