Visia® Skin Analysis

Visia skin analysis tells you much more than simply what your skin looks like.  It analyses six features of the skin's surface and depper layers.  Then it compares these results with the average for your age and skin type.  It looks at:

 

1. Visible skin blemishes (threadveins, spots, freckles etc)
2. The amount of wrinkles
3. Damaged pores
4. Texture of the skin
5. Bacterial growth on the skin (how well are you cleansing?)
6. Ultraviolet A damage from the sun

With enhancements to the system due early in the summer it will be able to analyse thread veins and damaged blood vessel to assist in IPL photorejuvenation and rosacea treatments.

Armed with this information we can redefine your skin care regime to deal with problems that you can see and also tackle those problems that you may be unaware of or choosing to ignore.

For instance inadequate cleansing products or techniques can leave excess bacteria on the skin and create further damage.  Our skin aesthetician will be to advise on skin care regimes and offer light peels and deep cleansing facials to assist skin management.

Patients receiving skin care programs are able to follow the progress and improvement of their skin when they return for follow up skin analysis.
